The Femme collection is my most personal and intricate series to date. It is my love letter to women, and my little way of honouring our strength, resilience and power. Each woman is lovingly hand-painted in oil paint with a glowing gold backdrop on a cream-coloured pot/lamp.

‘Know your power’ features a sitting woman who is covering her bust with her hand. She is placed within a gold circle and one of her legs is dangling out of it. She appears strong yet wistful. She is perched above the words, “Know your power” and would be a perfect daily reminder of strength on your bedside table.

This month, $10 from each pot/lamp sold will be donated. The donations will be split between Northern Rivers Relief Fund, a community-led recovery fund for flood-affected areas and sisterworks, a social enterprise empowering asylum seekers, refugee and migrant women to work towards financial independence. Care: Your lamp is an original, hand-painted artwork by me, Sharlie Wise. The base will get scratched if placed on abrasive surfaces. Pots can be kept outdoors in undercover areas—please don’t let it sit in water! If it gets grubby you can gently wipe over with a damp cloth.
