♀ Inherit the earth (Fierce)
This piece was inspired by my painting “A woman is a mountain. A woman is the sun”, however this time I have depicted a child. This painting was created in honour of International Women’s Day this year, and it features a very special vintage enamel pin. This pin is a vintage Soviet era Russian badge celebrating March 8 (IWD). I have to say, I think this is my all-time favourite pin, I just love the colours and the joyful woman. I painted this while watching a genocide live-streamed every night to remind myself to have hope in future generations.
