FRUTERÍA is part of my anemoia collection (nostalgia for a time or a place one has never known). In this series I am interested in exploring woman and place--how much is she a part of the background, does she want to be there, or is she longing for a home she doesn't know? The colours suggest vibrancy and vitality yet her expression seems to be looking for something beyond her.
